The Control Panel is a feature within ēllu that lets you easily view and manage all app functions, such as SOS, Proximity, Location, Aware, or Let´s Meet, in their various states: active, pending, or dismissed. You'll be able to see everything in one place, without having to check each chat individually.
Which features can I manage from the Control Panel?
SOS: If you need help, send an SOS to your Guardians from the app or directly from the Band.
Proximity: Send an invite to group contacts. Once they accept, they'll appear on the map.
Aware: Choose who you want to walk you through your route, step by step, until you arrive safely.
Let´s Meet: For organizing plans quickly and easily.
Location: Share your real-time location for as long as you choose.
Where can I find the Control Panel in the app?
You can access the Control Panel from the Chat tab in ēllu. In this image, we show you where to find the Control Panel icon. Depending on whether your operating system is iOS or Android.
Can I change my decision about a feature from the Control Panel?
Yes, the Control Panel allows you to rejoin a feature if you had previously declined it, or leave if you no longer want to participate.
There are three main filters in the Control Panel: Active, Pending, and Dismissed.
Just tap on each option to easily view and manage the functions in each state:
Active: Here you’ll see ongoing functions. You can leave them anytime, whether you created them or joined one started by someone else. If you initiated it, you can also end it.
Pending: This section shows functions proposed by your contacts that you haven’t accepted yet. You can join them with a single tap.
Dismissed: This shows functions you previously declined or that have already ended. If the function is still active, you can choose to rejoin. If it’s finished, you can also remove it from your panel to keep it tidy.
Does the Control Panel replace chats?
It doesn’t replace them, but it does help you avoid entering each individual chat to check the status of a feature.
Will I receive notifications from the Control Panel?
You’ll still receive the same notifications as before, but now you can manage responses or actions directly from the Control Panel.
