How to add my contacts to ēllu?
Once you’ve completed registration, the app will ask for permission to access your phone’s contacts. It’s important to grant this permission so that ēllu can identify which people in your address book also use the app.
After granting permission, ēllu will scan your contact list and automatically display those who are already registered on the platform.
⚠️ If you notice that you don’t see all your contacts, even though you know they also use ēllu, this may be due to your iOS 18 permission settings.

How to add new contacts to ēllu?
On the home screen, select the agenda icon 📔 in the top-right corner.
At the top of your list, tap New contact.
Add the person's details: first name, phone number.
Then tap the OK button.
If the person is an ēllu user, they will appear in your contacts list; if they aren’t an ēllu user, remember that you can send them an invitation to download the app.
How to invite new contacts to ēllu?
On the home screen, select the address agenda icon 📔 in the top-right corner.
In the bottom-left corner, tap Invite contacts.
A link will be generated for you to share with the contact(s) of your choice.
Share it via whichever method is easiest for you and encourage them to download the app.
If you don’t have any contacts in ēllu yet, the Invite contacts button will appear in the centre of the screen so you can see it and access it easily.
How do I add contacts to a Circle?
When creating a Circle in Maps, you will see a screen where you can add participants.
You can also do this from an existing Circle if you are an administrator: open the Circle, tap the settings icon ⚙️ and select Add members.
From this screen, you can:
Invite contacts from your address book who already use ēllu directly to the Circle.
Display a QR code for another person to scan and join the Circle.
Copy the Circle invitation code to your clipboard to share it manually.
Share an invitation link through other apps.
Where can I see my contacts
In the upper right part of the screen you will see an icon of an agenda📔. By clicking on it you will be able to see your entire list of contacts and also to whom you have given permission to send you a Pager.
