Why can't I see all my contacts in ēllu, even though I know they use the app?

On iOS 18, you’ll only see the contacts you’ve approved.

Starting with iOS 18, when you grant apps access to your contacts, you now have a new option called "Limited Contacts."

If you selected this option, only the contacts you manually chose will be available in ēllu. This means that if you didn’t include certain contacts, you won’t be able to see them in the app—even if they also use ēllu.

This setting allows you to personalize your experience in ēllu by connecting only with the people you choose from the very beginning.

Want more contacts to appear in ēllu?

Just go to your iPhone Settings > Apps > ēllu > Contacts and choose between Limited Access or Full Access.

If you select Limited Access, you can manually update your list of allowed contacts.

If you choose Full Access, you don't need to do anything else—the app will automatically show all your contacts who also use ēllu.
