We’re currently in the launch phase and focused on creating the best possible experience for families starting to use ēllu. We want you to be able to try out the app and enjoy the peace of mind that comes from staying connected with the people you care about most, without any barriers or complications right from the start.

That’s why, during this stage, we’re offering a free version with essential features. Later on, we’ll also introduce a Premium plan with advanced tools and features for those who want extra protection.

And importantly: even though ēllu is free, we don’t show adverts, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t access what you write, say or share. Your messages, location and communications are protected with end-to-end encryption, because for us, privacy isn’t an add-on: it’s a fundamental part of security.

Do I have to pay to use the Band?

The ēllu Band is a physical device that requires an initial purchase. It’s the essential for:

  • Sending SOS alerts immediately and discreetly.

  • Receiving critical alerts without having to look at your phone. Currently, using the Band-linked features within the app does not incur a monthly subscription fee.

What will happen to my data when the Premium Plan becomes available?


Nothing will change in terms of your privacy. Your data is protected and you decide which features to enable. We’ll let you know when the new Plan becomes available; we’ll never make any automatic charges without your prior consent.
