1) Check that Bluetooth is enabled

Make sure both your phone’s Bluetooth and your Band’s Bluetooth are activated.

  • To activate Bluetooth on your phone: go to your phone's settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on

  • To activate the Band's Bluetooth:

    • Press and hold one of the buttons on the ēllu Band.

    • The Band will vibrate once, and its LED will start flashing with a blue light.

2) Forget the Band from your phone’s settings

Sometimes, unpairing and re-pairing the Band can resolve the issue.

Steps on Android:

  1. Open the phone’s Settings> Connections or Connected Devices> Bluetooth. In the list of paired devices, find the name of your ēllu Band. Tap on the Band’s name and select Forget or Unpair.

  2. Turn off Bluetooth for a few seconds and turn it back on. Then try pairing the Band again from the app.

Steps on iOS:

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings> Bluetooth. In the list of devices, find your ēllu Band. Tap the information icon (i) next to your Band and select Forget This Device.

  2. Turn off Bluetooth for a few seconds and turn it back on. Then try reconnecting the Band from the app.

3) Restart your phone and Band

Sometimes, simply restarting the phone can resolve connectivity issues. If the Band is still not connecting, press and hold the left button for 15-20 seconds until it vibrates and the LED emits a white light. Then try reconnecting the Band again from the app.

4) Update your Band’s firmware

Make sure you have the latest firmware version installed on your Band. From the app, tap the Band icon on the bottom bar > Info > Update firmware to check if there are updates available.

5) Check if the Band is charged

If the Band’s battery is low, this could affect the connection. Make sure the Band is fully charged before trying to connect.

6) Reset your phone’s network settings (optional)

If all else fails, you can try resetting your phone’s network settings. This can resolve Bluetooth issues, but note that it will also remove saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.

  • On Android: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.

  • On iOS: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
