What is Let’s Meet?
Let’s Meet is a feature that lets you create a meeting point within a Circle to coordinate a meetup with other members. You can use it to meet at a specific location, organize an activity, or let everyone know where and when you’re meeting.
When creating a Let’s Meet, you can add:
A name.
A description.
A location on the map.
A start date and time.
An optional end date and time.
In addition, Let’s Meet lets you know when members arrive at the meeting location. When arrival detection is active, ēllu can automatically detect the arrival of members who are sharing their location and send notifications to the Circle according to the notification settings.
How do I create a Let’s Meet?
From the Circle map:
Select the option to add a Let’s Meet.
Place the point at the location where you want to meet.
Add a name and, if you want, a description.
Select the start date and time.
You can add an end date and time.
Save the Let’s Meet.
The Let’s Meet will appear on the Circle map, and members will be able to view its information.
Who can edit or delete a Let’s Meet?
Only the person who created the Let’s Meet can edit or delete it.
You can modify:
The name.
The description.
The start date and time.
The end date and time.
While a Let’s Meet is in progress, you won’t be able to edit its information, but you can still delete it.
Do I need to activate anything to receive arrival notifications?
No. Arrival detection is automatically enabled for Circle members who are sharing their location and have not paused location sharing.
When a member arrives at the Let’s Meet location during the valid time period, ēllu will automatically detect their arrival and share it with the Circle.
There is no need to press any button to indicate that you have arrived.
Can I turn off notifications for a Let’s Meet?
Yes. You can turn off notifications for a Let’s Meet at any time.
When you do so, you will stop receiving system notifications about arrivals at that Let’s Meet, but you will still be able to view its information and arrivals in the app.
Where can I see Let’s Meet notifications?
You can view Let’s Meet notifications from the Smart Alerts 🔔 panel in Maps. There you can see:
Let’s Meet events that have been created.
Let’s Meet events that have been deleted.
Member arrivals at Let’s Meet locations.
