What is the purpose of archiving a chat or group?
The archive chat function in ēllu allows you to keep your chat feed organized without losing any important conversations. By archiving a chat, it is hidden from your main chat list without being deleted, and you will not receive notifications from the archived chat, though it remains fully accessible. You can resume the conversation at any time from the Archived Chats section.
How to archive a chat or group
To archive a chat in ēllu, follow these steps:
Archive a chat:
Go to the main chat screen.
Long-press the individual (1:1) or group chat you want to archive.
In the menu that appears, select Archive chat.
Access archived chats:
Go to the main chat screen.
The Archived Chats section always appears at the top of your chat list.
Tap Archived Chats to see the full list of archived chats.
How to move a chat or group from archived to the main chat?
From the archived chats:
Press and hold the chat you want to unarchive.
Select Unarchive chat.
The chat will automatically return to your main chat list.
