In order to send an SOS you need to send an SOS you need to have your Guardians configured. Send a contact invitation and have your contact accepted it. You can do it in 2 ways:

  • From the contact book (person icon 👤 in the top right corner), in the Contacts tab, selecting the person's profile and sending the request from the profile.

  • From configure your Guardians: in the SOS Security section (in the bottom bar, far right), Tap Configure Guardians.

Inside this section you will find two tabs:

    • Your Guardians

    • Guardians Of

From here you can add or edit the contacts that will be part of your SOS circle.

    • If you don’t have any Guardians yet: click Add Guardian and choose who you want to add.

    • If you already have Guardians: click Add or Edit Guardians, select who will be part of your SOS circle and save the changes. In this section, your Guardians will appear next to a toggle, allowing you to temporarily enable or disable whether they receive your SOS alerts from the SOS Safety section.

When you send an SOS from the ēllu App (in the bottom bar, far right) or from the Band you send an urgent message to all your SOS contacts (Guardians), including your location and a 20-second audio that is recorded at the moment you press the SOS. For more information you can consult our article SOS.

⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️

By accepting to be a Guardian, we will ask you to activate critical alerts so that you receive SOS messages even if your phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb mode.

Due to iOs restrictions, in order to send an SOS from the Band, ēllu must be open or in the background. The App must not be completely closed.
