At ēllu, your privacy and security come first, which is why we want to give you an extra layer of control over who can message you or add you to groups, helping you avoid unwanted contact from strangers. Use parental control to lock these settings so that no one can change them without your consent.
When does ēllu ask me to configure it?
By default, and until you configure it, people who are not in your contacts can start a chat with you or add you to groups. The first time you open Chat, after registering and going through Maps, we show you a prompt so you can configure it. You can set it up right there or do it later using the path we explain below.
Where can I find it in the app?:
Side menu → tap your phone number, at the very top → Privacy → Contact Privacy Settings.
What is this option for?
